MTV Movie Awards 2012 // Gypsy Stationery collection

We're so excited to announce Jolio Design, in association with The Artisan Group, will participate in a luxury celebrity gift lounge hosted by GBK Productions on June 1-2, 2012 at the L'Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California in honor of the the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Nominees and Presenters.

Jolio’s designer paper products will be prominently featured on display at The Artisan Group's exhibit.  All attending celebrities will receive the “Gypsy” stationery collection which includes a mix of coordinating paper products with our signature style of lively graphics, vibrant colors and bold patterns in their gift bags. This collection has an edgy tribal vibe with a mix of sweet perfect for the cool crowd at the MTV movie awards. This event will also be attended by over fifty media outlets. It’s so exciting to have my work in the hands of so many celebrites that I love and admire!

I'm SO excited to share our new stationery collection that just arrived in the mail yesterday!
I almost kissed the UPS guy when he handed me the package... I've been anxiously waiting for it to arrive for months. This bright and colorful collection is with our new licensing partner Primary Colors. We met at Surtex last May and just love working with them. They were so excited about our bold prints and graphics and we talked about all the great products we can apply them to... and here we are almost 1 year later and boom--- in my hands and now available at Staples in Canada.  We're very thankful for this lovely new partnership and the new stuff we're working on right now. xo

Getting Dirty for Earth Day

I love working with my hands so when I decided to hand block my bags for our Earth Day packages I was giddy like a school girl. I really wanted to create something special that was made with love for the celebrity gifting event. It was so refreshing to step off the computer and go old school. It was very relaxing and so rewarding to see the designs come alive before my eyes. I really loved the instant gratification that came with actually touching and holding the finished product. After 6 hours of cutting the linoleum, 4 hours of printing and a lot of Starbucks later I must say I am thrilled with the end result. Now I'll have to part with these sweet babies and that is by far the hardest part for me. Letting go. Who else has that problem?
